Yesterday, we went snowshoeing. I won’t bore you with the details, because I know you’re only interested in the proof, but I will say this: I really enjoyed it, and I think we’re going to invest in a couple pairs of our own.
Snowsoes!!!
Obligatory foot pic before we got started… gotta get that proof!
The real snowshoe trail. Not gonna lie – I was a little scared.
And also REALLY excited!
Does this not look so comfy? I just wanted to lay down in this smushy blanket of white and take a nap.
Apparently Corey did too!
Blazing the trail!
I forgot to get a picture of Corey on the snowshoe trail, so I snapped this on the main trail as we made our way back to the lodge.
Snow – check. Trail – check. Weird metal contraption on my feet – check. LEARN TO SNOWSHOE – CHECK!!!
Handsome guy.
“Do you think if I sit in this, I’ll sink?” Corey said yes. He was wrong.
Love.
Special thanks to the City of Moncton for encouraging residents to live healthy and active lives – even in the winter! The Snow Motion event and free snowshoe rental was awesome!!!
I saw this on your FB and was totally jealous I had such a busy day! Would have loved to have taken advantage of this! So excited you’re crossing off all these winter bucket list items 🙂

It was lots of fun!!! And we found out that they rent snowshoes AND cross-country skis every Saturday and Sunday at Centennial Park! So you may not have been able to take advantage of the free rental, but the opportunity is still there. 🙂 Let me know if you want to cross any items off with me – I’ve still got skiing, ice fishing, and ice skating left to accomplish!
